Finish Pixie and Recordings Today

Today, you will finish your Pixie drawing of your animal and its habitat.  Please include your name and the name of your animal.  Please capitalize your name and the name of the animal.  I will give you a list of the students that DO NOT need to open Pixie (because they are finished with their drawing).

If you are finished with your drawing.  Please click on the Raz-Kids link below.  Choose a book, listen to the book, read the book on your own and then take the quiz.

I will call you to my desk one at a time in order to record your fun fact about your animal.

Animal Habitat Research Project

Today, everyone will click on the link below to begin your research project.  These are the steps to follow:
1. Choose an animal to research - no dinosaurs (everyone must choose a different animal).
2. Fill out the form that I hand out.  You will be able to fill out this form by reading about your animal on the National Geographic website.
3. When you have finished filling out your form, please open Pixie.  Draw a picture of the animal you have chosen which should include the scenery and background of the animal's habitat.

Next week, everyone will have a chance to make a recording of the fun fact about their animal.  We will convert your recorded voice to a QR code and insert it on your Pixie drawing.  Have fun!
