Grammar & Spelling Pattern - ou and -ow

Verbs that end in -e, drop the -e and add -ing

First, add the verb "to be" (is, am, are) and then add -ing to the main verb.  The sentence is telling us that something is going on right now.

1491 - St. Ignatius is born in Spain
1521 - He is a soldier and hurt by a canon
1522 - He sees that God can be found in all things
1540 - He became a Jesuit priest and opened lots of schools
1541 - He taught his students to be people for others
2015 - I go to a Jesuit school and I am a person for others.
