April is Poetry Month!

So, we will create some poetry today.  You will have a choice between two different types of poetry:
1.  A Theme Poem - select one of the themes (nature, school, sports, etc.) and use words that describe your theme.  Your poem will print in the shape of the theme you selected.

2. A Diamante Poem - a diamond-shaped poem that uses nouns, adjectives, and -ing words to describe two opposite topics (for example, night/day or winter/spring).  It does not have to rhyme.
